7 Tips For Staying Original

In the world of fashion, trends are always changing, and some of them aren't the greatest. Staying original is important in fashion. In this post, I'll share some ways to stay original and true to your style.
  1. Don't copy exactly what you see on Pinterest, fashion blogs, or anything like that. If you see a style that you like, give it your own stylish twist. Even if you saw a celebrity wearing that shirt, don't buy it unless you love it.
  2. Don't avoid store just because they don't sell designer clothes, or the clothes aren't super trendy. You can get great additions to your wardrobe anywhere, even thrift stores. For more on why you should go to thrift stores, click here
  3. Dress according to your style. Wear those clothes because you like them, not because everyone else does.
  4. Dress a bit more casual than everyone else. Now, I'm not saying you should wear jeans and a tee shirt to a black tie party, but you get my point. Wearing sneakers while everyone else is wearing heels, styling your hair into a messy bun while everyone else has fancy french braids. Small things like that.
  5. Labels don't make you more fashionable. You should be able to walk into a room wearing a super casual outfit, and be the most fashionable person there.
  6. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Sure, it might be the biggest trend right now, but don't waste money on something you won't wear.
  7. Don't dress to be the most fashionable person ever. Wear shoes that you can walk in, and clothes that you feel comfortable wearing.
Some of the tips are kind of repetitive, but they're all important. Let me know if they helped!
