Yes, I've finally made a denim on denim post! Denim on denim can look great if you do it right. In this post, I'll show you the 8 do's and don'ts of wearing denim on denim.
- Do pick different colored denim. For example, wear dark jeans and a light jean jacket.
- Don't wear denim accessories. That means no denim shoes, denim hats, denim handbags, or anything like that.
- Do wear distressed denim. It adds variety to you outfit.
- Don't wear all the same shade of denim. you don't want to look too matchy-matchy.
- Do dress up your look with a pop of red lipstick or statement heels.
- Don't look to old western movies and cowboys for inspiration. That means no cowboy boots, bandannas, Western belts, or cowboy hats. On the other hand, now you have a great look for Halloween.
- Do mix lengths. A denim shirt paired with some frayed denim shorts is a cute look.
- Don't overthink your outfit. If you do, you might end up looking like a cluttered cowgirl.
