What's the difference?

Well...

Hoodies:

Ok, so, a hoodie is usually soft and has a zipper,

 but sometimes doesn't. Most hoodies have a big 

pocket in the front. They are usually made of cotton.

Sweaters are normally more soft and warm. 

They can be made of cashmere, silk, wool, or cotton. Some are cropped, while others are 
oversized.
