Effortless Fashion: That Just Woke Up Look

Now that a lot of people are working from home and students are remote learning, you'll be staying home most of the day. Some days you won't be doing anything, and just don't want to get dressed. But how can you stay in your pj's all day and still look good? I'll tell you a secret: it's easier than it sounds. Of course, it's not just wearing cute pajamas, though that's part of it.

Hair
Get a silk pillowcase or nightcap to prevent your hair from being too tangly. Wear your hair in a braid or another protecting style while you sleep. Hopefully when you wake up it will only be a little frizzy and rumpled. During the day, a simple ponytail works best to prevent tangles.

PJs
Simple pjs without ridiculously cheesy patterns are the best way to go because they're better when you want to match with other pjs or your actual clothes. Go for colorful, but not bright. After all, you are supposed to sleep in them. I would recommend pj bottoms that actually fit and don't look like pajama pants, so that if anyone sees you in your pjs, they don't know you're wearing pajamas. As for tops, no cheesy slogans proclaiming some variation of Good Night! or Sweet Dreams or anything like that. Then people will definitely know you're wearing pjs and haven't done anything all day, which you probably haven't, but whatever. This is a non judgemental zone. I totally do the same thing sometimes.

Makeup
For makeup, go casual for sure. Not too much. Of course, unless you're going somewhere or on an online meeting where people can see your face, you probably won't need makeup at all, unless you care about what you family.
