Lots of people love thrift stores, for a few good reasons. You've probably been to a thrift store before, so you know what I'm talking about. They are also known as resale shops or stores, second hand shops or stores, used clothing stores, consignment shops, or even flea markets. That's a lot of different names, but in this post, I'll call them thrift stores. Let's get started!
- You can get designer clothes for cheap. Especially if you're shopping at a store like Plato's Closet, which only accepts designer brands.
- They have an always changing selection of clothes, jewelry, and accessories. Since they get donations, they get new items all the time.
- You can redecorate your home on a budget. Thrift stores don't just have clothes. They also have furniture and decorations.
- Thrift stores are perfect when you're shopping for kids. Most kids' clothes are expensive when you buy them new, and the clothes will be outgrown quickly, so why waste your money?
- Thrift stores aren't very busy, which is great if you don't like crowds. Not a lot of people also means shorter lines.
- Even though people think that the stuff at thrift stores are dirty, you can always clean them. Plus most people clean the items before they donate them to thrift stores.
- While the stuff at thrift stores is used, there can be some items that are barely used.
- It's basically a real life treasure hunt. Shopping at thrift stores are fun, with lots of options, but only a few amazing deals.
- If you're a collector, you can get additions to your collections for cheap.
