Advice For School: Trouble with Tough Teacher

Dear StyleFashionista,
Help! I'm failing all my classes! I'm normally a good student. However, we stay with one teacher all day and that teacher is really tough! And it's just me that she's tough on. What do I do?

Dear Trouble with Tough Teacher,
it probably isn't just you she's tough on. Look around. If a teacher is tough on you then it usually means she or he has high expectations for you. You should think of it as a good thing, not a bad thing. If you still have trouble with this teacher than you should ask her why she is hard on you. It might seem hard to ask your teacher to back down a little bit. As for the grades, do extra credit work. Try all bonus questions.
Options for extra credit:
SCIENCE- Make a diorama, poster, chart, or diagram.
WRITING-   Write an essay on what your learning about, questions you have, what you learned, what you hope to learn, or what you already know about your next unit.
READING- Read some of the books the teacher recommended for you and tell her what you liked
about them. Write about any thoughts or further insights you might have about the book you are currently reading in class.
MATH- Solve those extra credit problems she writes on the board. Answer more questions in class discussions. solve the bonus problems at the bottoms of homework pages.
HISTORY- Research the topic you're learning about and make a slideshow or write an essay on what you researched.
